Technical Knowledge & Application of Standards

We are proficient in our knowledge of the new Eurocode 2 BS EN1992: 2004 Design of Concrete Structures in addition to the traditional British Standards BS8110 and BS5400. This enables us to provide you with a solution that will surpass the design requirements.

Low Concrete Cover?

We offer a consultancy service for low reinforcement cover backed up by calculation in accordance with the above standards. Where design cover has not been achieved, we can often demonstrate the actual reduced cover to be technically adequate to meet the above standards - eliminating expensive remedial works.

Where cover is not sufficient, we can offer a range of solutions to achieve design durability usually without the need to break out concrete.
